Boats on Used Victoria and Other Areas

Cool boat, but they may want to fact check the "no wood to rot" claim. Its accepted and confirmed from the factory on the Arima Owners forum that '86 was the year they stopped using wood in the stringers. Mine is an '87 so just past the cut off. '81 is pretty early and I bet those stringers are wood. Doesn't mean they are rotten or have any problems - but they could.

plenty of wood in the transom too, although it is in multiple pieces and sandwiched with fibreglass in between.

Another tyee
Nice Malibu. Not sure if their 182 is also a double eagle hull. Tyee 17 is a double eagle 17 from the gunnels down. I understand Jenkins marine in Sooke is now making them. Looks like a nice boat.
