Boats on Used Victoria and Other Areas

Engines are more than twenty years old and prone to corrosion problems.... hardly ever been run apparently.... is an old trailer, old electronics, and an old hull worth 45k?

I really like those old 22s. That one looks ready for 50K in updates assuming the structural stuff is fine.
I looked at it a couple years ago when it was for sale, the transom was like cardboard. Hopefully it was redone well.

Didn't say it was a good price lol

Someone low ball this DjT lover sick BW 15 footer in Oregon 20k after a 5k price drop. https://www.facebook.com/share/1BumpNSy9e/?mibextid=wwXIfr

Oh mama, that thing is hacked up! That is (was??!) a Rage model which would've had a Mercury SportJet 175 in it. The Rage hull is quite flat. It will no doubt be fast with a 115 prop and an extended running surface. But what a hack-job of "restoration" with bare plywood in the bilge, messy wiring, cheap upholstery on the aft box, etc.

This is definitely not a Whaler 15 like all the lodges used to run

Older 17’ Whaler
What do you think of the 17 @Pineapple Express ? Seems pretty reasonably priced if the foam is still good that old?

This old Whaler Montauk 17 looks pretty good. Some scuffs, but that's to be expected for a 40+ year old boat. The main engine is nice and light, but maybe a bit light on power. One of my cousins had a Montauk 17 with a Merc 90 2-stroke back in the day. That seemed to be good power.

Not sure why people add kickers to small center consoles like this since the kicker just adds a whole pile of weight right on the transom and offset to one side so the boat lists. The main engine will troll just fine and be whisper quiet.

Price seems a bit on the high side to me ($14,750USD) on a painted steel trailer, but I guess the seller is banking on the Whaler name and including electric downriggers and some budget off-the-shelf T-top with a radar dome on top (described but not pictured).

There was a nice Montauk 17 with a 2-stroke listed briefly in West Van last week at $14,500 but it disappeared nearly instantly.
