Boats on Used Victoria and Other Areas

The old west coast special. Ukee had a fleet of those srv240 a decade ago. Still has a couple left. High probability of soft stuff in that hull. Nice sea boat for its size.
Interesting, yeah I’ve seen a number of different guide outfits use them. Cool looking boats.

How big a GPH bilge pump could make up for being close to equivalent to self-bailing? Yes I know it will only work with power, where scuppers work all the time.

they ran single 115's on them, typical lodge power range when using the same engine for trolling. Call James at BV Rupert.

surprised they were used for commercial application without the self bailing feature. I was under the impression that it was a requirement for standards and insurance.

I bet that'd be ok . Only 180lbs more than the 115, which would be underpowered.... Wont have to run the 250 very hard.
Lots of storage space up front to put weight of you need to counterbalance.
Might not be rated for that much , but it'd sure be fun!!
A buddy of mine just put a 250 on a 20' Bridgeview .... 50mph wot . Hang on tight!!

Any thoughts on those bridgeview hulls from motion marine / QCL? I spoke with James, he said the hulls are average build, have some repaired damages like cracks in hull, patches etc.

They have sold 9 of the 12 .. so I’d have to get up there this weekend to pick it up.

Do you think they crack because of misuse or the hulls might just be a little cheap.. ?

Primarily looking to use as an island commuter to a beach access piece of land.

Guests and guides run them pretty hard, some fly them over the wave peaks which could cause cracking. Most likely not 1/4” plate bottom. An aluminum boat repair guy told me what he loved about aluminum boats was they are easy to fix because you can just patch here and add on there. You’re not looking for anything serious if this $10,000 range boat is appealing to you, so I don’t think I’d be too worried about it. If it works for the use that you intend it to do, it might be a great find. The good ones have already been picked over if there are just three of the 12 remaining.

Thanks for posting this! I ended up pulling the trigger on one right away. Expecting a banged out, poor riding hull and anything above that is bonus. I believe they are all sold.
