Lots of money in the engines. Hulls are a light lighter. Pretty well priced considering you get two newer 4 strokes.

This looks nice, too big for me.On Facebook

Seller's Description

The "Why Knot" is a 26ft Stryper Sea Swirl with Alaskan Bulkhead.
Very nice hull, but it’s way to “inboardy” for me.

Hmmm...man, this forum gives me grief posting on a reply from my S21 POS. Anyway, what gives on the Monaro? I'm pretty sure that's the one I was on in the yard, was it a pod related issue? Monaros are super well built, and that one is looks awesome.

Not sure of the quality of the Monaros but if they are solid, that’s a pretty sweet boat for the money. Enclosed cabin is so much nicer than canvas.
Monaros are incredibly well built, I have a 79 and it is in amazing condition, I really love the ride of my 21, can't comment on the ride of the 298 however.

I sound like a broken record on this hull, but watch for a leaking fuel tank. They made this a bit bigger in the later years as well as the Pro designation.

I heard that one had big problems
Pod problem???i was at their shop few years back and they where doing a pod conversion on a 21 and the old man was bitching that those boats where not design to hang an 800lbs motor 3 feet back of the stern, so that is why I think problems might be pod related. The original glass work on those boats is good, the the pod work might be sketchy, who knows
