I'm surprised the fuel burn isn't more advantageous with the diesel. I have a very similar 28 nwac with outboards and record the same or better mileage.
I love mine but it would be hard not to sell it for that kind of change..

It meets your HP approval? It’s a dam full load, just need radar and maybe a second screen/network and an autopilot. Only draw back it has a pretty small dance floor with the roof extension, fish locker at the stern and a stand up head. Maybe more room than my boat but not much. I would be surprised if the loa was only 27, given the anchor and extended transom.

I prefer the conquest, but I like to overnight with the family and weekend trips with my cheap ******* buddies. Way better accommodations on the conquest and the beam makes the dance floor huge. If I was a clidesdale like my buddies maybe the 28 for bouncing off rocks and of course towing, not sure of the beam but it will be a lot narrower than the 315. Come to think of it I’m a cheap ******* so mooring and towing the 315 is out, I’d need a dually a license upgrade, permits and a triple axle with permits. A battery replacement alone on the 315 would be thousands…. But since money is no object 40kn running from Victoria to Bamfield…. Who cares about the $1500 in gas to get there $1500 to fish and $1500 to get back.
