Boats on Used Victoria and Other Areas

Good boat for lakes and calm days, 10k of accessories. If you like to fish off shore or snotty weather wait for a Searunner or OceanPro
2016 Hewescraft 180 sportsman
$49,900

^ this 2016 Sportsman shows as sold now.

Here's a 2008 Sportsman for $37,500 in Coquitlam. Merc 115 4-stroke with ~350hrs

Maybe it's just me but I've noticed that the "covid tax" hasn't effected larger cruisers as much.
Seems to be some pretty good deals. Of course there could be additional costs as in any boat purchase

$50k for a 5 YO Sportsman! Wow!
I was just chatting with a friend a couple days ago about his boat. In 2018, he bought a 2015 Searunner with trailer (disc brake), Yamaha 150 hp and kicker, downriggers and a bunch of fishing gear for $40k. The boat was fresh water used and only had 200 hrs on the main. At that time we weren’t sure if he was getting a good deal!

But this just gives a perspective on how things have changed after Covid.
That really is a wicked deal for a Searunner since it was likely the 190 extended transom, basically a 21-foot hull? The year of the boat is worth a lot, that Sportsman is virtually brand new with a nice tall stand-up top, the kickers that are now insanely expensive to buy and rig. Our 2006 searunner didn't have the best rigging at that time dealers installed and supplied motors, I suspect 2016 to be a better boat in some ways like Electrical and Fuel Systems.

Love this 3270, my buddy has the 40-foot version. If you cut off that back deck you could land some fish in there on your way to Alaska. You could even keep it on and land some fish!

Yes. This is with the extended transom so basically a 20' boat. He was debating between a boat down in WA ($32K US) or the one that he bought from Salmon Arm and then he pulled the trigger on the latter one. I'd say $40K CDN was the average price for that class of boat 3 years ago. And I agree with you on the current inventory levels for motors. I'm sure the buyer who paid $50K for that Sportsman has been in the market for a long time with cash in his hand.
It's the basic supply and demand thing and until the global supply chain goes back to the normal levels, the prices will keep surprising us!

we were chasing a 3270 for about one year prior to covid. The diesels in good shape were $25-$35k and the gassers were anywhere from $8-$20k.
I’ve seen prices on these entry level cruisers go up quite a bit in most cases as they were seen as a way to locally vacation.

Not as crazy has bare hulls that need work for 10k. I did the math for a buddy and it was over 40k to rig a boat and buy a basic used trailer, no downriggers or anything else. I was shocked to see the cost of a 200hp climbing to 25-30k plus taxes installed if you can find one!
Really need to call around. We found crazy price difference for the exact same motors.

Endes up with a yammi 300 XL for 25k plus $600 to install and 6 year warranty and a 90 Suzuki for $9600 plus $500 to install.
This was just 2-3 months ago or so. Stock was low but we just kept calling.

Double the price, but maintenance is likely as big a worry as price.
