Why wouldn’t he just trade it for the 22k and save himself the tax? Seems a bit odd
Perhaps when the engines were called Mercury at first when they were clearly Yamahas had something to do with a perceived lack of maintenance. Perhaps. If someone snagged this today, there’s a lesson to be learned. Even a nice looking boat like this should have an inspection done. The results weren’t good. Both motors showing signs of potentially major problems caused by poor (lack of) maintenance.
I sent a message. The ad was 48 minutes old when I sent it. Never got a reply.Ad lists it has Merc engines but pictures show the boat with Yamaha motors.

24ft Grady on Road Runner trailer for $25,000
Looks pretty slimy like it's been sitting for a long time. No info in the ad.

that trailer looks a little strange. The ball to winch distance is 10 feet plus. Don’t get that.
I have seen this in places where the launch ramp is not well designed for the tides, it allows a truck to launch a boat further into the deep water without submerging the vehicle. If you live close to your launch ramp, not a big deal. A long haul to a destination might not be the best idea.that trailer looks a little strange. The ball to winch distance is 10 feet plus. I hear ya, but, it’d be a mother to haul on the Island Hwy. A candidate for a sway accident if hit by a bow wave. Poorly balanced trailers tow vehicles worry me. I speak from one bad experience that I learned from.I have seen this in places where the launch ramp is not well designed for the tides, it allows a truck to launch a boat further into the deep water without submerging the vehicle.
