I had a wolf/husky hybrid. Picked her up in the parking lot of action sports on dogwood across from 7-11 while I was getting a new hockey stick in early ‘89 out of the back of a pickup.She was a great pet and was pushing 20 when I put her down. Pic is from somewhere in clayoquot.

Amaruq aka The Boogyman - 1/2 Timber Wolf (Yukon North Slope) & 1/2 Alaskan Husky (Inuvik).
He was my constant Companion for nearly 12 years.
Miss him dearly...

Asuilu 1/2 Arctic Wolf (Victoria Island) 1/4 Shepherd 1/4 Lab.
My Lady's constant Companion and Boogyman's mate.
Also fondly recalled and missed:

The pup cannot replace either obviously.
But she sure can help damper the sting of loss down...

My girl KC ,got her in the 80"s she was 1/4 wolf German Sheppard. She was an amazing companion,I could leave her in my Monza with the hatch wide open and never lose anything including my dog,she could actually scale the backstop at our local baseball field I miss that girl I bread her with a malamute and her12 pups were amazing!! RiP my girl

Ten Weeks Old Today & simply full of **** & vinegar!

Now at that awkward stage where her ears are trying to stand - at different rates of course:

And he has discovered the old basket of dog toys from our previous ones.
She loves them all!

She hops around on those long legs like some strange combination of a fox & a jackrabbit.
Hilarious to watch.

Ila turned 11 wees old today.
She has grown an amazing amount in the three weeks that she has been with us!!

She is now just over 13 weeks old:

Not Kimmiq's first Rodeo.
She new exactly which ones contained the Uber Yummy Christmas Puppy Treats and taught Ila what to look for!

Ila could not believe her eyes when she wandered out back yesterday.
Hanging from the back balcony was the first deer she had ever seen:

She was very nervous and full of trepidation at first.

But when offered a little taste, she got right into the thick of things:
