Transom plywood install is finished in 26'er, it now has three layers of 3/4" marine plywood... also keel (1 3/4" x 5 1/2") is scribed and ready to be embedded.

Hey all, 23' has outside stringers and keel glassed, ready to glass inside stringers and install floor... Sorry almost forgot, I am laying 4 layers of 1708 in poly resin for both stringers and keel which turns out to be a touch thicker than 1/8". I will make a sample to show the thickness asap!

26' got the keel embedded in epoxy and looks awesome... keel is 5 1/2" x 1 3/4", way better than new

For those that want to know here is what 2 layers of 1708 and 6 layers of 1708 with poly resin looks like for thickness... I will make a sample of 4 layers to show the differences asap!

I don’t think he suggested he was finished anything other than transom. Probably better to encourage him rather than remind him how much work he has ahead of him. I suspect he knows.

Also, what should I be looking at for transducers? I was thinking a 2 transducers a 3 in 1 and a p66, was thinking "in-hull" mounted transducers.

I had 2-7" Simrad Evo2's in one of my prior boats and they were great and the price was not much more than they wanted for the 9" because you only need the second one to be a monitor connected through your Nmea 2000 network.I had a P66 transducer.

2x7 and I've run both. Currently have one 9 and wanting to add another.

Stringer install in the 26'... got them epoxied in place. All stringers and keel is 1 3/4" laminated with 1/2 bull nose. Had to use lots of bracing to re-align the hull and support during cure.

I place a strip of duck tape on the low side of the stringer to act as a dam, I poured epoxy epoxy on the upside of the stringer until all voids were full, it took about 1 1/2gal of West System w/slow hardener and milled fibre mix.

Pic 2 - this is a polyester resin mixture with ProFill and anti-sag used as a sorta body fill putty, its polyester so it can be glassed over

Here are a few pics of the 23'... transom has 2 x CM to prevent bleed through of in-fills, just needs fairing and paint Just installed bulkheads forward and aft of fuel tank cavity, room for app a 70gal tank.
