We did get a few undersized lings while trolling for salmon.

Anyone ventured to the Cherry Point - Mill Bay strip recently for Coho?

Was there today. Two shakers and one 65cm wild coho who went to bonk city. Fishing close to the bottom in about 80 to 90 m of water.

Went out for a fish today just expecting the usual small winters down the channel. Picked up a chunky 12.6# winter. A beautiful day and no crowds.

Out for the afternoon fishing Sidney Channel. Got tossed around early in a wind against current chop but managed one keeper winter spring, 66cm hatchery and a few unders released boat side.

Went out on Sunday morning for a few hours. Managed to get a nice 9lb winter at Fairfax.

Was anyone on here out fishing @ Fairfax today? You would’ve seen me fighting this guy for a good 20 mins trying (& failing) to fight the fish while steering to dodge kelp and huge logs while it was taking huge runs. Epic day with 17 releases and 1 bonk! 16 LBS & 81 CM hatchery. Get out there!

Nice work. We are on the hook tonight in pat bay with traps soaking. Might have to head over that way jig for something other than squid which we just tried and will a few more times before shut eye.
