2025 Sidney Reports

Fished Moresby 8:30 to 12:30 on Sunday, lots of pinks still and undersized Chinook. Tried going deeper but still hooking into 50cm Chinook, switched over to bait and landed a 76cm Chinook at 100ft on DR near bottom on tide change. Had one more at the end that was fighting above its weight class that was just undersized and released. Winds came up right as it was time to head home. Great day, nice to get one more before the season wraps up.

So, does this rain mean we're done with Chinook for this year?
I don’t think it helps much. But with the amount of smaller fish being caught I think it could be a good year to fish over the winter locally. I had some productive days last December / January.
I did go out for a few hours yesterday morning in the fog. Lots of smalls, a wild coho and a clipped 10lb spring.
