was in Bamfield 3rd week of August , slow for us on the inside , ventured down to Seabird island only once also tried the Sharkstooth spot , one cod and one rock cod is all . so we lost all our coordinates because we changed sounders , we wrote the #s down but lost the sheet ! , it's a lot to ask but would some one be so kind as to share the common coordinates with us so we would have something to try next year , looking for
5 mile , 7 mile , 12 mile and of course the Rat's nose . would be greatly appreciated , thank you some one .

Are there any halibut out there this late in the season. My year broken up by family visits but they are gone now. I need some halibut for the freezer.

Any fish around. Going out Wednesday for four nights to close up the cabin. Was a good year.
I don’t have a report, but would really appreciate one from you after your trip. I’m trying to swing a late season trip next week, hopefully. Thanks in advance

It’s late in the year but am thinking of trying Bamfield after October 1st. I’ve been told the road is “good” as opposed to just OK. Anybody have a recent experience with a trailer? Thanks

It's a breeze, in comparison to what it once was. Drive safe and in control and pulling a boat will be no problem at all. Some have said almost a joy!
The road is beautiful....

CAUTION at the china creek bridge. big problems there and 2 large bumps at either end. I would slow to almost a stop going onto the bridge. It is between 4-5 km mark. I drove it a week ago and not pulling a trailer.

I would second Islandgirl on the China Creek bridge approach. All the bridges have a small bump but the China Creek one is really bad other then that the road is great. I tow my 30' 5th wheel in there doing post speed no problem.

Just back from Barkley Sound. We put the cabin away for the winter as well as some maintenance. Weather was great except for one day. Fished Swale and Harbour Entrance. One ten pound white spring and some shakers. We’re hoping for some coho.3 boats fishing between chup and pill point on the way home. All and all a good season.
