Yes, if it's C&R why is it even out of the water? Mortality is highly correlated with handling the fish. i.e. - don't.aren't those supposed to be released in the water until opening?
Sportsmen get it. Others net and handle the fish. Catch, kill, release.Jeremy Maynard said it best. Don’t take those pics as it does more damage visually than anything. You either get it or you don’t.
I was up last Saturday. 2 legal, 3 undersize and 2 oversize. Fished just above the Toba Wilderness Lodge (I believe it is called that). I believe Toba it is more of a May fishery. The only reason I went up there was to show my Dad, who is from the Interior, a new area. Been out of town for a couple weeks but just before I left cop car spoon in 3.5" and 5" was on fire. Dint seem to matter what flasher it was behind.
