Yes, if it's C&R why is it even out of the water? Mortality is highly correlated with handling the fish. i.e. - don't.

Jeremy Maynard said it best. Don’t take those pics as it does more damage visually than anything. You either get it or you don’t.

Sportsmen get it. Others net and handle the fish. Catch, kill, release.

Thinking about heading out to Toba Saturday - anybody been out there lately and is it worth the trip?

I was up last Saturday. 2 legal, 3 undersize and 2 oversize. Fished just above the Toba Wilderness Lodge (I believe it is called that). I believe Toba it is more of a May fishery. The only reason I went up there was to show my Dad, who is from the Interior, a new area. I was not expecting much, and was pleasantly surprised with what we caught.

It’s been on fire. Good size hatchery chinooks. Toba Wilderness, Channel Island. Great spots.

Was there on Sunday. Jigged up a nice ling, nice 28 incher & one at 80cm on the dot. Fish all over the sounder

Yesterday our fish were stuffed with big herring but the Army Truck definitely outfished my killer 602.

Heading up to Pacific Playgrounds for the weekend and planning on bringing the boat. What’s the fishing like off there. Is there spots close by. Never fished there before. Is it too early for pinks around there?

Been out of town for a couple weeks but just before I left cop car spoon in 3.5" and 5" was on fire. Dint seem to matter what flasher it was behind. Will be out over next 4 days, so fingers crossed its still on out there!!
