I too hang flashers off my Balls.

I got one off each ball and one on my rod as well. Sometimes it's a reel drag.

North arm early morning hit a spring on sockeye gear yesterday, saw few jumpers,
north arm will light up soon, spring hit at 40' was not expecting that, big springs are here... a nice red spring

Blowing 15-17 knots south east. White caps. Fishable for seasoned fans ok.

6 in the box. All out deep, 400’, 75’. (I sound like a broken record)

It is not very nice out here at sandheads. I would not advise coming out unless you're fine to work gear in 3 foot chop. There are a few fish around but in our 20' boat it's pretty mucky. When we came out the north arm at 6:30am it was nice there but got progressively worse as we neared sandheads. Here now so we will stick around unless it starts getting worse.

Hope I'm not posting in the wrong section, but where can I launch off the North Shore other than Cates or Sunset? Went to Lions Gate Marina and was informed it's been closed to the public since January.

Yeah, I gave up on Sewells long time ago because of the parking issue. Wish they would reopen Ambleside ramp.
