It is not very nice out here at sandheads. I would not advise coming out unless you're fine to work gear in 3 foot chop. There are a few fish around but in our 20' boat it's pretty mucky. When we came out the north arm at 6:30am it was nice there but got progressively worse as we neared sandheads. Here now so we will stick around unless it starts getting worse.
 
Hope I'm not posting in the wrong section, but where can I launch off the North Shore other than Cates or Sunset? Went to Lions Gate Marina and was informed it's been closed to the public since January.
 
Looks windy off the south arm. Any luck today. Hoping for the wind to switch and pop out later for the 1st time.

Sewell’s marina in Horseshoe Bay. Parking might be tough tho.
