Giving it one last go tomorrow. North arm in the a.m. if the weather and wind cooperate, and Cap for the evening high tide. Gonna drag chovies all day I think. Will let you know how it goes.Anyone out today? Thinking of going out tomorrow afternoon if the wind cooperates.
All Prawns are born as males until they turn into Females usually four year olds and a lot of people don't prawn at this time of year because the keepers are so small.I have been out prawning and thinking it is just about time to let the females lay their eggs. Over half of my catch has been females with eggs. It is tough to throw them back as they are much bigger than the males. Hopefully everyone else is following the regulations and releasing them too.

This time of year they haven't decided what they want to identify as yet. As we all know it's a choice we all make once we figure out what our parents are like.Did you just assume it’s gender? lol

Sounds like someone is considering an upgrade....Does anyone have a 2001 sea sport 220 on the mainland? Would like to have a look at one if possible.
