Some bigger ones around the fish we got the smallest was just over 30 inches and taste awesome!! And these are mostly Columbia reds so they don't get to big to begin with , if ya gonna wait for the big ones you got the sqaumish run or summer fishing so kind of a waste of boat sitting around
30 inches your smallest - that's pretty good; what were your biggest?

Fished HITW today 1-6. Lots of shakers, 3 in the 50's sent back and one keeper. Bait balls that stretched from deep to surface. Even 3 double headers. 70-90 was the best depths.

Started today at QA. Couple of shakers , then headed to the bell. One keeper there about 70cm. Got it on a 3.5" herring aid spoon at 145 deep. A bunch more shakers and missed a good pin poppa to finish the day. Saw a good number of boats hooking up, so the fish are there. Good bite on before low slack around 1130.

Bell put out a few fish nothing like it was for the last 5 days seen a couple boats hook up we had afew just unders but was a good day and not to windy .Heading out tomorrow but not in that area gonna try some further out spots

Went out today to just prawn and dragged the lines for a bit lost two nice ones in chop in Howe sound on herring aide at 123 ft and got a measly 430 prawns should be good for a week or so now that it's open lol
Nice work on the bugs! Funny we lost 3 good ones lower howe sound yesterday. Trimmed the hoochie shorter and dropped to a 2/0 and they started sticking. 123 & 83' were hot for me and another boat..

Most fish im hitting are still coming in just under but our rods were only down for maybe 4hrs combined fri/sat. My buddys boat boxed 2 and lost what he figured was mid to high teens at the boat shortly after we had to leave for dinner. Friday we hit one under and one right on 62 at Grace still hugging the bottom...

Boxed a 23lb at Hut Island yesterday on a skinny G at bottom at 130’. But then nothing else except some some sunshine. Thought it was a 10lber foul hooked until I saw it. Pinkish red meat wild fish - nothing beats adrenaline induced heart arrhythmia to make your day!

HITW 10-2 Not much action. Not much showing for bait either. Some nice swells to keep you on your toes. A group of about 6 sea lions howling in front of Sunset.
