Anyone know of a reliable boat surveyor in the Port Alberni area?
DON KIMURA MARINE SURVEYOR 4333 VIRGINIA Rd. PORT ALBERNI, BC., V9Y 5V7 (250) 723-4496 B.C. TQ # 9068Anyone know of a reliable boat surveyor in the Port Alberni area?
So what did you use for trim?I did the windows on my 206de. The hardtop can be removed by drilling out the pop rivets in the aluminum trim; the windows are held onto the cap by T bolts that slide into a channel on the bottom of the window frame. I wound up having to fabricate new window channel/sliders using uhmw as replacements are just not available anymore.
you must disassemble the window frame in order to do this.
For the front windows I bedded them in with butyl tape and again the rubber gasket trim that holds the glass in place isn’t available either, I searched for months and couldn’t find the right size profile.
I got some at ajr marine Windows. It's called A5 Glazing rubberSo what did you use for trim?
If you are referring to the front windshield gasket I just went without. So what did you use for trim?
You can mask it off and do a crisp caulking infill, peel the tape and it should look great. Neutral cure would be best so it does not shrink back.If you are referring to the front windshield gasket I just went without.
I was thinking the same thing just haven’t gotten around to it yet.You can mask it off and do a crisp caulking infill, peel the tape and it should look great. Neutral cure would be best so it does not shrink back.
Those little white squares are a pain in the butt,I used a purple abrasive flex disk from Canadian Tire.I spent some time today and did the dreaded task of ripping out the vinyl in the cuddy. As expected, it left a million residual tiles behind. I'll have to spend awhile grinding them off before I replace it with carpet. At least now I can get a good look of the cuddy without the vinyl in the way!
The toilet is going to be replaced as the other half would not dare sit on it in its current state!
The kicker is now mounted and looks good!
Do you have any pictures of how it turned out? Curious of how the hull liner looks! Those little white squares are a pain in the butt,I used a purple abrasive flex disk from Canadian Tire.
I finished the inside of mine with hull liner ordered up from JT outdoors, I think it’s 72” wide and running meter quite reasonable easy to work with and looks great.
You will have to pardon the’70s plaid cushions.Do you have any pictures of how it turned out? Curious of how the hull liner looks!
Amazing. Mind me asking how much fabric you needed and what it cost? You will have to pardon the’70s plaid cushions.

I have some leftover if you pm your address I can send you a chunk.
I used it for headliner on the hardtop as well.
