1977 Double Eagle 206 Build

Not much to update. Cuddy has been prepped for hull liner, and some wiper arms and blades have been installed. Hull liner should be in the next couple of weeks!

A little before and after. I was short material so had a few more seams then needed. Overall much better!

So I had the boat out for a 4 hour run today visiting a hot spring on the coast. The 300 zuke ran great and I managed to run at 3500rpm doing 24-25 knots. I averaged about 6.8gph and used 21 gallons for the trip. Pretty good I'd say!

I also took the time to put the logos on the boat and give it a good cut polish!

Just thought I'd add a brief update. I've added a planar Diesel heater and it's a tricky thing to do on these boats with the limited mounting options. I think it turned out well! Just need to countersink the helm vent when I have time, but for now I'm running it as is!

I may also relocate the fuel pump higher up in the gunnel but this is good for now!

I don’t know how I missed this thread back in the day but I just start to finished it and I’m flabbergasted how perfect of a job you did on this project!
So well planned and executed…
Now to sell that yam kicker and get a matching efi zuki

That matching kicker has definitely been on my mind... May be in the works for sure.

Appreciate the feedback, it was quite the process. Still not perfect but night and day over how she started!

One sexy butt boat, I would add a metal back to your heater where it initially exhausts as added protection so it doesn't catch your headliner on fire
