Taken from a SFBC members website---- So who wants to go fishing in 30ft seas in a 17ft boat???? Amazing!

Our vessel is a 17 foot welded aluminum built to withstand 30 foot swells on the west coast, but we fish on the inside so the days are relatively calm for those that are land lubbers. We run electric downriggers, have comfortable seating, and plenty of gear. Expect to bring your lunches, beverages, layered warm clothing, and expect a very long day. Most importantly expect to catch fish.

Of course no one can promise fish, and those that do, aren’t telling the truth, but we’re so confident that you will catch a fish, that if you don’t we will give you one of ours from the freezer, and buy you a nice dinner!

We can put two guests on our boat at a time.

For the record the boat that was posted used to be a guide boat on the west coast of the QCI. Can quite easily handle the waters. No one said you stay dry.

Doesn't bother me none. I'm already booking. I don't traditionally market nor target in any way that most of the locals would do, and have my own avenues, so you've no worries about me taking any of your guests fellas.

Relax .ORG..... This island needs lots of more guides. It needs Full Time and P/T guides. There is so much money out there to made in guiding it's crazy. You should buy a ad on SFBC. Plus I am sure your friend at that island fishing magizine could do a story on you....

Well, I'm not a fireman, and since I'm doing it the whole season, that makes me a full time guide, not a part time. I fish the whole season anyways yearly. ... I'm not worked up at all, no worries. Like I was saying I'm not encrouching on anyone's clients because I have my own. I'm simply doing what I always do, and that's basically finding fish.

This is no joke.... This man is a pro guide looking to make his cut.

Soon I will as well. I am thinking about buying a fleet of small self guided boats and renting them out for cheap. Unlike .ORG who is only asking $1000 unlesss you are a female fishing group which gives you a special deal...$100 off...Just wondering .ORG is there a topless rate?

Owen completely missed the part where we just bought a 33, as well as building some 24's I think.
The discount is just to get more women fishing.
Same with father / son trips as those bonding times are important.

I enjoy a good ribbing time to time, but it gets tiring especially when it begins to question one's intelligence and since none of you know anything really, you can trust that I am quite intelligent, and have things quite worked out.

Owen. I really like you !... That's why when the owner of BB came onto the dock to ask me about the post you made with regards to the commie opening during the derby, because it wasn't true, and may have affected their fundraising for a good cause, I didn't open my mouth and tell him you were standing right behind him.

In all honestly though, and generally I know it's all in good spirit at least for a few of you, I probably won't respond too much anymore to posts like this thread. It's simply bad energy to me. I don't live that way.

Just to clarify...IT IS illegal to promote or sell your trip by making a promise ahead of time that you will throw them a fish from your private sport caught stockpile if you can't find them their own live swimming specimen. You are using the lure of a frozen sport caught fish to help sell the trip over other operators. Does this **** me off...ya a bit....the last thing I want is all of us guides having to compete by dipping into our own fish supplies to book a trip. Not that I would have to give much away
