What's for dinner tonight ?

Did not really care for the smoke flavor with lamb.
Wasn't over-smoked nor dry, simply that combo did not work so well for my palate.
I wonder if it's the doneness combo that doesn't work. I know I've had some spit roasted whole lamb that was done to pull and it was delicious. Maybe the medium rare just doesn't vibe.

Yeah lamb fat needs open fire high heat or just broil in the oven. Those rib racks (in which the wifey likes, not sure what it is with girlies and lamb but they have a special connection I think 😄) we slice and marinade them, then broil. Or BBQ. Put them on a direct heat charcoal and probly wins the room I'd say.
 
We do butterflied boneless leg of lamb on the Treager to medium rare.
Follow the Treager recipe book.
20 minutes per side on the highest heat.
