Its the cheddaroni reciepe that was post a year ago...I just made a few changes and will make a few more to come....
Salmon cheddaroni
1 1/4 cups macaroni
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
1 clove garlic minced
3 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 3/4 cups milk
1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1 cup sour cream
2 cans salmon- of which one is canned smoked - don't drain... flaked
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 tbsp. melted butter
cook macaroni, drain set aside
in large saucepan melt 3 tbsp. butter, cook onions , garlic till tender, blend in flour and Worcestershire and then gradually stir in milk. cook over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture boils and thickens. Remove from heat.
add cheese, stirring until melted, stir in sour cream, salmon and macaroni.
transfer to a 2 L(8 cup) casserole dish
combine bread crumbs and 1 tbsp. of melted butter, spoon around inside edge and on top of casserole dish.;
Bake uncovered at 350 for 25-30
