Scanstrut has two types of phone holder/wireless chargers. Parksville Boathouse has them I believe.

I looked at the RAM and Scanstrut stuff. Scanstrut too pricey and the RAM stuff I didn’t want to order it without feeling them. Feel Scotty nailed it with theirs.

Upgraded the trailer from the ez loader 5200 with surge brakes to an aluminum 7300 with EOH brakes.

Sure a nice feeling being legal now!

Took out the rotary steering helm and cable in preparation for hydrolic steering instal on Friday. Hardest part was getting the steering wheel off after 33 years of being on there.

Installed new leg yesterday, blew gears in top end last Friday, 24miles back to dock on kicker, thanks to Dennis at A&E for getting me a good price from MPS in Nanaimo.

22yr old boat and me running a larger pitch for last 8. Might go down to a 17 pitch, but probably not
Alpha leg on a 24ft and 350 for power is not ideal, this still should last me rest of my boating life

Is that polystyrene Insulation? It can absorb water as well.

My son found me a beauty 14 Lund ,trailer and 15hp Johnson for a song couple weeks ago from original owner, Alberta boat brought to Alberni.
Cleaned it up, bought some comfy seats, electric trolling motor, cleaned jets, new carb kit, getting it ready and looking forward to use around island lakes.

Did you get the upgraded top cover for the carb? The old style like to split on the top if the idle air screw gets turned in too far.

Yes. My plan is to have it wrapped in plastic and easily removable/replaceable. The boat itself is marine plywood core sandwiched between epoxy resin fiberglass.

Ping pong balls are cheap lol. Fill the whole benches with them.

At least just keep an eye on it, could have been upgraded already. I want to say they put a metal sleeve in, old style is threaded plastic.
