the specs you find for anchoring or made for safety so you can sleep on boardandand not be likely to come loose.not applicable when awake and keeping watch. all you want is too snag up on bottom for awhile.fish and leave. but do watch for large logs drifting into you as they can slide over bouy and up bow line.

I don't see myself anchoring overnight anytime soon. Think I'll look into some 1/2 inch poly rope. Thats all I will need this year. Thanks..... Steve.
