I’m looking to build and install walking ramps on my Road Runner boat trailer.
Thinking easiest would be some 2x8 treated wood with something added for grip. I know I could use metal but food is cheaper and lighter.
Any advice or images of what others have done?
Here's a photo of what I did a couple years ago when my trailer was new works fantastic I put a piece of 5/4 board inside the metal runner and u bolted it all to the frame of the trailer I bought the runner at metal supermarket

When I bought mine they had a few scrap pieces around I think mine is around 6 ft and I believe I paid just over 100That diamond tread looks great. Just called Metal Supermarket. Minimum length is 12' and it was going to be more than $250 .
Scott I see you haven't added any grip. Do those boards get slick when wet?
You will never fall on that aluminum. The grip is amazing.Nope, but they really don't get that wet, in fact i would be somewhat worried
about falling on that serrated galvanized.

If you fall. You won’t feel anything. Cause you were likely stoned or drunk....but if you do fall, your knees will never be the same. Or look the same
SG Power in Victoria has them. They are used for motor cycle ramps to load bikes into pickups or whatever. I’m sure any shop that sells dirt bikes has them. We’re can you get them ramps at
