Trailing hook on a spoon

Saw this video about adding a trailing hook on a spoon.
I haven't heard of anyone that uses this, so not sure if it is even necessary.
Legally it should be the same set up as a double hook hoochie rig.
Has anyone on this forum used this set up?
Just wondering if it helps the hook up rate or not.
I've started using the swivel between the spoon and hook, but the trailing hook is a new one to me.

It's not designed to catch more than one fish at a time therefor it's a legal rig.

Some of my spoons have the swivel rig but I couldn't be bothered to use a trailer hook have in the past and it was more of a PITA than it was worth.

Thanks for the input.
I figured it might be more of a hassle than its worth, that's probably why very few people seem to use it.

Caught a fair amount of 25lb + on spoons - NEVER had a short strike, never lost a fish unless it was on a guide boat where the guide insisted on a Flasher in front of the spoon.

A good spoon would already have a barrel swivel on the hook.
