Tofino, ucluelet fishing out on the banks?

Whats the fishing like out on the ouside banks were the princess charter boats go in August. Should we only come on a mean tide or a large tide? I understand they drift and use jig lures. I dont know what lures to bring on trip anyone willing to help me?

If you go on the puke boats they supply the jigs they strongly prefer u dont use your own.

You will find there was a thread on here not much more than a week or so ago that mentioned the EXACT lure they use on the "MV Hurlsalot" and her sister ships.

They have a new supplier this season (Magic Lure). Very good jigs. There was a 43# Spring caught last season with them.
