Charter recommendations on the island

I have some free time beginning of June. I plan on visiting Mom on the island. She really wants to get out fishing and thought I'd book a charter. With the ridiculous restrictions we are now faced with, which area or outfit would you smart folk recommend. Within a few hours of Nanimo would be nice.
Here's my thoughts so far: sooke, small area open for springs and coho even halibut with tailspin or wolf. Cambell river for lings, no Chinook retention. Book a night in tofino and hit the outside which should be all open.
Which areas are open for chinook retention! I know I know aug 1 would be ideal lol.
