There's some fish at the Grande. Out there tonight for a couple hours, only saw 1 taken. Quite a few on the sounder. Need to get my new kicker bracket mounted...only have 2 speeds with my main, too fast and too slow.
Salty...was that you in the Welcraft? How'd you make out?

Great day to be fishing.

The boat was running great so I made it accross in record time, about an hour. In short order I was into my first spring ...until Mr. Whiskers came along that is: he got the fish and the lure. Then, before I could get my second rod back in the water, I caught another one ...and this time Mr. Whiskers was on a coffe break or something. Yeah! Caught my second keeper an hour later (Whiskers was busy scamming fish off other boats), yanked a bunch of crabs from the trap on the way home, and was drinking a cold one in the backyard in the afternoon. Sweet. [8D]

got a 13 on a green glow hootchie, and lost one to a seal.
once the southeast picks up fishing there isnt too productive.
