Most fluorescent dies already carry optical brighter in them, so no need to add Mrs Stewart to the mix. Save some money

Agreed, I use it to give the bait a nice shine. Just found the other colours - chartreuse, deep blue, etc. didn’t make a difference.

I use raw form optical brighter in all kinds of things.

I’ve had better luck running a wire through the bait to control the roll over coloured dyes.

I'm convinced that added eyes make all the difference. Stopped using coloured brines a few years ago. That being said, once all the eyes fall off, I don't bother replacing them that season. I'll just do up a new batch come Sept 1.

When I was painting spoons I put eyes on all my spoons. On some spoons I put eyes on both sides. I never thought of attaching eyes to my teaser heads. With baitfish the eyes are quite dominant.
