GOOD for you chris when I said that before it was when we wernt getting salmon at our usually depths and killer whales had been feeding after a day or 2 things come back to normal. its time like that is when you change things.
BTW rockfish you are allowed 2 per any size now go get em take Chris as hes on now ......

I spent my 5 hours out yesterday evening. Not a thing happening for me. My partner had one good pin popper on a mongoose coyote. He missed it as hes new to fishing and dident realise when your rod pops and goes slack the fish could still be there and reel reel reel like heck [
]
Cant give up my .25 cents yet, but I have a good feeling as I saw 2 springs at the cleaning station which is the most ive seen since winter springs were around.

was out with Dave S yesterday, got to net his first chinook for him[], i guess we all have a job to do
, roy i took a couple pics of you but didnt get a side pic just back side of boat, i will post later when i get some time, you have definately upgraded, everytime i leavs ss and see your last boat, i think why isnt roy out fishin,lol

You going to make me wait all summer long for 2 bits???? LOL LOL well it has slowed a bit but got a nice 17 lber and a beauty sockeye which i released DAMN I wished it would be open as I know that fish was going to die as it was bleeding when it was coming in,WAY to go again DFO!!!!!!!!

Fished Secretary/Posession from 8a-1p, my dad lost a solid one, and landed a 21 lb'er. 81ft gold betsey, bloody nose, baitrix, 5.5ft leader. 66ft silver betsey, bloody nose, chove, 7ft leader. 1 off Possesion, 1 in tight to Secretary.
Water was awesome and traffic was minimal for a Sat.
Action I saw was off the point from 10a-1230p, saw only 3 spirngs taken(foggy) and nothing at the cleaning table. Saw few socks released.

Out at Otter point again for us Saturday. Saw a few fish caught. This time it was my other fishing buddy who got the fish. 17 lbs on a bright blue and bright yellow hootchie with a purple haze flasher at 69 feet on the rigger.It might not look like 17 lbs but buddy is 6ft 4 in.

otter pt...lost one, realeased a 13ish and a kept a 24....between 3 and 6pm right before and after the little switch....58 and 67 ft...saw 12 fish caught...

Finally got out again yesterday with a friend around 9:30 am and fished till 4:00 pm. Saw a couple caught off Possession around noon but nothing for us so we went up to the Trap Shack and I picked up 14 lb (White Chinook, presumably a Harrison fish) on 6 inch herring because of the anchovy shortage. Did a loop and followed the same trail on the GPS and she got a 22lber at exactly the same spot and depth (88 feet). Her idea to go to the Trap Shack and use herring. My friend was out the day before with her dad and got herself a 27. They also got a 12 and two 8 lbers and went home early after limiting out. She can fish on my boat anytime.
