Sooke coho clipping 2012....volunteers needed

hey guys, things are firming up now - Mel is wondering if we can also help out at Charters Creek - they have 8000 to clip there - it will be on the 13th (yes I know, hali derby weekend), but they only need 6 or 7 for that on the Sunday, so I assume it shouldn't be hard to find some available. Any takers there? Good chance to see the new facilities as well.

As for Jack Brooks, looks like that clip will be the weekend of 26th and 27th - he is talking 40-50k to clip - I am checking if thats the only weekend as I know there were about 30 interests and we could easily do double that. He will confirm how much space there is and how many people so just check your calendar for that date and I will follow up when I get more info. If you know you can't make that weekend and was interested prior, drop me a PM or reply here so I can cross you off the list.

typically start around 9, end around 2-3 (or earlier if finished batch!).
Just a reminder to clarify which weekend you are in for so I know - I see Chris73, Lipripper, Kildonan+?, Tsquared? for the 13th? If thats the case, only 1 or two more for the Charter Creek job.

talk to Mel..lol No worries on 13th anyway, I have more than enough, and I think we have more than enough for the main clip as well....Im in same boat for that one and I hope he can run another weekend in June as its my 15 year anniversary on 27th so we are planning a full kidless weekend (that according to wife, does not include clipping fish!)

Confirmation on Charters Creek clip - 9am Sunday 13th meet at the center, I believe its 2895 Sooke River Road, but its first bridge, on the right side (there is a disinfection facility just past the bridge on the right, think the driveway is between that and the creek). Make sure you bring weather appropriate gear as you are working outside and the water is cold on the hands! Food should be supplied.

funny, I didn't catch that either - you just have to spin it right - breakfast in bed...then take the girls so she can relax and have the day to herself, then take her out for dinner! Think thats pretty much a moms dream day???

Glad you sticking with it, 4 would be tougher to replace, but I should be able to find one - any takers, just pipe up here, otherwise I'll call high five or chris73 and drag them down.
