English, yes it is location. An Otter Point report doesn't mean the fish were everywhere at Otter Point. They often are in one specific area. First thing in the morning you may have to make a complete tack from one end to the other to try and locate where they are. If you don't hit a fish, watch others that may hook up. Where the boats are hitting them (a boat laying sideways dead in the water is the give away) is a good place to concentrate on. The other charter guys will hone in on that spot as well. Unless you see fish caught somewhere else....just pound that spot. Eventually you may have to wonder again if the spot dries up. I think most guys get bored with sticking and staying to make it pay. But often that strategy does pay off.
If you are on the spot where fish are being caught and your rods are silent and you know your gear is working...you likely have the wrong depth....move the rods up and down while the bite is on to find them.
