Sidney Spit Dock at Low Tide

Anyone know if the dock at Sidney spit is accessible at low tide? Headed there tomorrow so kids can play with some white sand. Hoping that I can just tie up at the dock rather than having to bring a dinghy.

I'm in a 25' Grady.

I know the ramp in Sidney sucks at low tide. Don’t ask me how.
I think the dock at spit is acceptable if there is room. Going to be a hot, busy weekend.

I don’t think low tide is ever a problem at Sidney spit but check your gps, mine shows the effect of tide on the depth if I remember correctly

Decided to hedge my bets with a $17 dinghy from Canadian Tire. Probably didn’t need it.

It sure was a nice day though.
