dont know much about launching outside blind bay, I usually launch in sicamous which is a decent one you launch partially in the river then power up into the lake under the rail bridge.

fished from shore at Harold park today 10-3, Only 1 bite at 2:30 half dozen boats out didn’t see any nets out.
Beauty day out

Derby coming up, how is the action?

Lots of stories say bucktails this time of year, is this still true, or should a guy be rigging out the riggers?

Looking forward to seeing everyone on the lake this weekend.

Bucktails and plugs up top for the bows, and plugs on the riggers for lakers. You can even pull spoons, apex’s up on top or shallow on the riggers.

if you have planer boards I’d run them as well.

Produces better then okanagan hands down

betty white Fishinator or herring aid for plugs to start

chrome and gold for coho killer

yellow/orange/grey for bucktail
Grey ghost or dark grey ghost for bucktail as well

bring a nice med or fast sink fly rod that’ll work well when trolling

As far as rainbows go this time of year sounds like just leave the riggers out of the equation.

hoping to run 4/5 lines. Would it be worth running 2 lines on a rigger at a shallow depth then long line a couple ? Just to keep them separated a little ?

You need 5 people with licences to run 5 lines on a lake.
There were many fines handed out last weekend. Barbed hooks, closed areas, and two many rods were some of the tickets they spoke about on the radio.

You bet. The intention is 5 people on the boat. Everyone will posses a license.
No intentions on breaking any regulations.
