Saltwater fishing license ??

Is it permissible to reduce the size of the fishing license? I find that the on-line printed licenses at 8 1/2" x 11" are unnecessarily large and I am thinking of using a photo-copier to reduce the size to about half. Is anyone doing this or know if that is allowed?

I am 1/4 of its size and have done it for years, even had to show it a couple of times and nothing was said.

Yup....don't need a copier, just use the paper setting sizes in your print options.

Not to hijack....but can it no longer be saved as a PDF? Not sure if mine was acting up but definitely could not save it locally on my PC?

Just went into print settings and changed the size and trimmed it with scissors. Fold it twice and put it in with my bank cards.

still valid?

Thank you guys, that is good to know.

my printed licence ended up having @Hotmail.com right between my full name in the licence holder line. tried to find someone at fisheries to tell me if its still valid.I cant change anything online to reprint the licence, what a pain in the butt,I'm going fishing anyway!!

There should be an option to reprint and it asks why. My gal had to do it with hers last year and I did two years ago when I didn't put it back in its waterproof pouch and decided to launder my license. :o

lol, that license is actually full 8.5 x 11...you guys better not mess with him! With these new licenses you can print them multiple times, so that could also be his throw away...kind of like a cop with a small gun tucked away just in case.

The fact is you payed for the license and carry a copy with you. If something were to happen because of a slight printing error and a DFO officer were to actually try and issue a fine of some sort based on that it would not hold up in court. I highly doubt it would ever go that far either, you might be asked or suggested to reprint it by an officer that's about it.
