Salt ice in Vancouver?

I was thinking the same thing, I read that link to the old topic (great discussion, some pretty well spoken fisherman out there [^], if a little stubborn
) on the vacuum sealers and wondered about salt ice and shaved ice for packing in the bellies. I've only ever seen the camping ice in block or cubes. I'd like to know where to get some on ECVI area. Anyone?

I would think the best bet would be to head down to one of the local fish plants in vancouver or richmond/delta.... and see if any of the guys might give you some ice.... they always appreciate some beer or a few bucks!!!
