Rollers

Hey guys,

Looking for some newer rollers to replace my old black ones which are starting to leave black marks on my hull. Yes I did consider bunks but I'm going to give rollers an honest try for a year or two.

Basically I was hoping maybe someone recently switched to bunks and are selling there old or maybe someone with a good place to buy them.

Also any advice on recommended types of rollers and where to buy is appreciated.

Trotac used to carry the yellow (non marking) roller's.
would be nice if you could get a used set as they aren't cheap.

Thanks for that. Yeah I never realized the price of these! Hoping to find someone switching to bunks and selling there rollers, long shot but worth a try.

Check out cerka.ca for a good selection of rollers and trailer parts of all kinds. ...the tab under "boats" shows rollers at pretty reasonable prices and shipping. ...in Canadian Dollars, too.

How many do you need? I'll take a peek in the bargain cave and see if there are any more the next time I'm there.

hers's some picks to give you guys an idea of what's happening. Will have to measure to get exact sizes...thanks for all the input and offers!

Save your self some money, and turn the rear rollers to bunks and take the best rollers to use on the front or replace the front ones. Half the price.

What Casper said. Maybe try taking the best rollers and completely coat them in white plasti dip. No idea how long the coating would last, but that might solve your issue with marking up your hull. Just a thought.
