Great work! I'm curious about your tractor seats, from one photo, it looks like you mounted the drivers seat on a swivel. What kind of swivel plate did you use and how did it work out for you? Thanks!

Hey Mike, The drivers seat is in fact not on a swivel base. There would b e too much flexing with this type of setup imho.

Thanks for the compliments fellas... I'll try to get some pics of the whole boat here soon and post them. Expected splash date will be very soon. We will have to put some time in breaking in the rebuilt power head though but should be ready to fish for july 15th. Motors are rigged up now and just need to clean up some wiring here and should be good to go. We are having some difficulty locating an 8 pin connection from the ecm for the speedo/fuel/water temp smartcraft harness. We bought the paddlewheel and harness for it but not sure if we need it as it might be for a pre 2002 motor and ours is a 2004. I know that you have to manually tell the smartcraft system how many liters of fuel are in the tank so that solves that problem but how would a motor know how fast it is going without some type of paddle wheel??

Here's the new retrofitted interior and dance floor. We recycled the back panel from the inboard. Also made a aluminium fish locker that sits in the old motorwell and floor hatch out of 1 1/8" plywood. No flex there!

Here are a couple pics of the completed project. Still need to get some new red Shine box decals made up and bleed the trim tabs but she's done! Feels Good!!!! Also managed to set the motor into Break in Mode for the first 120 min through the smart craft system (injects double oil).
Another Nice surprise was finding out that the entire optimax motor only has 524 hours on it total!
