Prawn trap - Kufa non-lead sinking line

Hello,
I'm looking to buy a 400' roll of Kufa non-lead sinking line for my prawn trap. I pull up my trap by hand in my 8 ft dinghy and find the regular 5/16" leaded trap line pretty stiff and difficult to coil while pulling up the trap. So, I thought I'd try this Kufa non-lead sinking line a try. Has anyone used this, is it fairly easy to coil into a basket?
Any other rope ideas or suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks

Buy 300’ or regular rope and use 100’ of the lead line you have. Just splice together. Sinking line can get tangled on the bottom where floating has less of a chance. Also usually cheaper.
