Heading up the coast for the long weekend with some buddies. Leaving the boat at home this weekend so hoping to get a bit of beach fishing done in between beers. Wondering if the Coho have moved into Porpoise Bay in any numbers yet?
I don't know if this helps much, but I'm pretty sure there was jumping coho (from the Maclean Bay Hatchery) as of June 20th. Not many ways to find out about sunshine coast fishing.... this website used to get updated somewhat often but in the past few years not so much. www.fishingsechelt.com
When I used to live there, the inlet coho fishing was very much a first thing in the morning deal. Good luck.
