Parking at French Creek Launch in Parksville

Hi all, I am headed across strait to Nelson Island tomorrow and I was looking at launching at French Creek Harbour and leaving my truck and trailer there for 3 nights. I have never been up that way before. Is there a place I can park close by?

Would it be better to launch somewhere else?

French creek has pay parking at the top of the boat launch

Bring lots of change (quarters) as last year we had to scramble to find some for the meter.
Perhaps other will confirm as my memory seems to be getting shorter.

Fytfire is right.

There's even more room for parking now that they have demolished the old French Creek Marine repair depot and shop.
That area is all parking now. Lots of room for boat trailers.

Just came in from there tonight, lots of room, or go see Bill or Ron at the French Creek Store, Bill lives across the lane from the store and he might private park you for a couple bucks behind his fence at the marina.
