Hi all. I am looking for a boat launch somewhere around the two Qualicum rivers. Not Deep Bay or French creek. It’s too far in my small boat if the wind comes up, like we all know it can around there.
I’m launching a 14 foot tinny with a 20 horse on it, this rig is on a trailer and it’s far too heavy to hump it down to the water from a beach access so that’s not an option.
There used to be a launch years ago at the old Costa Lotta campground which was perfect, but it’s no longer there and has been gone for years.
Does anyone know of a launch that would work in that zone? If there’s no public launch option, maybe somebody has a suitable private launch on their property? I would pay you to use it.
