Our 3rd (and keeper) Allied Boats 30’ Wildcat Build ****

Bottom was painted last week. This week should have been seats and fish boxes. We are headed up tomorrow to install the wrap. Hope I don’t Screw it up! Had been waiting to see if we were gonna get enough “seadek” in orange and grey. They got it a couple days ago, so this is the blueprint.

This is what we are doing for the wrap. Erica came up with the font and Boatskinz added the cat eyes on the house.image002.png

You have a really nice build. Thanks for including us in it.

Question

In this picture it appears that these , for lack of a better word, pods are open.

Is this just an optical thing? Or are they waiting for something before being closed in.

This is a catamaran. Those are the sponsons. The area between them is the tunnel. Nothing left open.

The boat is lifted off the trailer and the trailer is covered in plastic to keep any of the primer, barrier coat, paint from being dripped on it. You might be seeing a reflection from that?

Had a long delay getting the new flooring material. “Someone” (no need to point fingers) saw a buddy’s new SeaDek (SlapShot) and really liked it, so we had to order new flooring. The manufacturer had the exact number of sheets (18) to get the floor done. Not enough for the combing pads :(. Might just go with straight grey???

This is my 3rd, AND LAST, build, so I want every as right as can be. I’m loving how she’s coming together.should get a seatrial pretty soon.
