Only 1 lure all summer... what is it?

Funny I've only used one lure so far in 3 or 4 trips wonder how long I can go.

Rosco spoon (cop car) with oki kinetic glo green jellyfish flasher.

Cookies n cream tail waggler was a huge success for me last year so that's what I'm putting my money on.

I'd be running bait too......tends to be our choice on the inside but it also will do the trick when I am off Tofino, Kyuquot etc.

BoogieMan flasher trailing a teaser head (never remember the name) which is chrome/purple/black.

NOW the secret is out :p ;) .....leave a few on the racks for me! Hahahahaha.

Great thread by the way!!

Chovie, green head(kripple K)-yellow applied eye, no2 buzz bomb treble-6-8ft leader, green stripe or candy man OKI flasher

The question should actually be more location specific...........WCVI in August = big spoons, big plugs, & purple and black label herring.....Also some spots in puget sound during summer where needlefish are prevalent and small spoons and needlefish hootchies kick a**

Thru the years I've learned that the most consistently successful fishermen have more than a handfull of "go to" lures to match the available food source where and when you are fishing. From Pilchards to needlefish & plankton and everything in between. "Match the hatch to increase your catch".....BTW, if we all only used one lure, then we would all have enough savings to retire and most tackle shops would be out of business, and the wife would actually encourage us to go fishing.

If I did have to choose just one it would be the 142R green speckleback hootchie w/green glo flasher.

ECVI: Green glo flasher with either a white hoochie or a Ross Swimmer Tail.

Oki Candyman flasher and red MP2 mini squirt. I've caught high teens coho, sockeye, pinks, and tyee chinook with this
rig. It's my go to combo when all else fails!

I would have to agree on the Mp series behind a good flasher, has to be an if all else fails kinda lure. Much like a White Hootchie. Put a Mp mini inside a glow white hootchie and that's pretty much all you need.;) eman
