Pretty good bite this AM going 3 for 6 on springs, 1 wild coho and 3 socks. Bonked 2 reds and a clipped white spring all in the mid teens. Action was 45 ft chovies and glow white hootchie west of QA.

Letting the anticipation build. Was slow for a while after we got out there after work. Rushed out. Saw 2 or 3 nets out. About 6:45-7ish it went off. Of the 20-25 boats out I think I saw everyone's net out st some point. We had 5 to the boat in 45 minutes. Lost our first 2 due to the leaders breaking. Managed an 18, 12, and 9. All super fun fighting fish. Went through all our chovies a little earlier than expected, didn't help our tray got stepped on while landing our second so switched to glow hootchie. Same result. Pretty much all depths right until sundown and then they were gone again.

Ditto! What a crazy fast and furious couple hours. We played 4-5 and landed 3 springs of similiar size. Caught and released a huge bright Sockeye too that took an anchovie.

I'll give it another try tomorrow morning South Arm, I believe its just a matter of being luck as there are not huge numbers of fish staging. The right part of the tide is huge.
