Lol. Yesterday there was a boat tacking diagonally through the whole fleet. I asked who was driving and they say "the autopilot" proudly. Can't fix stupid.
No bites yet... just got to cap, saw this:
Priceless ... had a good laugh at that this a.m. Hard to believe how close people will get to you when there are as few boats out there as there were this a.m. ... as they say, it is a big ocean out there.... that's why so many boats are trolling with their bumpers out.
Haha....laughing at that one too.No bites yet... just got to cap, saw this:

Bit of a bust for us today at the Cap... Fished 7 am - 2 pm, shallow, deep, close to shore and further out. Saw lots of fish caught all around us, both at the early bite for the first couple hours and then from noon onwards. Quite a few jumpers too. Only managed what I thought was a small jack coho (~2 lb) , but turned out to be a jill! Had to double check that jills were a thing... Caught on a herring behind Twisted Sister flasher at 60' down just east of Navy Jack Point.
I decided to go prawning and crabbing in Howe Sound, it was great as there were lots of crabs and prawns as well. The Coast Guard showed up and asked me to move my traps as they were sounding for sponge bottom. I spoke to some people on board the boat and we can expect more closures next year in Howe Sound.
