Nootka Halibut Spots

Heading to Nootka soon... heard bottom fishing is good.... anyone have a good idea where go for the bigger hali's???? I have heard that there are spots near Beano creek etc where you don't have to run off shore.... anyone know about that??? coords or nethin would be awsome???

I'd head outside Bajo reef. Try 30 to 50 fathoms.I hooked a big one in 30 feet of water on the reef.

going to nootka in about three weeks, I was pretty excited until some punk broke into my truck and stole my G.P.S with two years of coordinants pretty upset at that if any one would be nice enough to help me out I work at the screaming reel in nanaimo and could cut a pretty sweet deal on some fishing stuff for the person who helps me out
