%@#@# the NHL .I had season ticket's for 10 years and they use to be $6000 now there $8500 each passing year I go less and less one because of the cost to go a minimum $300 after everything.Doesn't matter if with my kid or wife its the same cost. 2 the games get more and more boring to me well maybe the ones I go to.Most of the true hockey fans cannot go because of the cost so it's mainly corporate energy in the building SUCKS .Tons and tons of scalpers make it hard to sell tickets most times. If you want to go to a game for cheap just go 5 minutes in there's still thousands of tickets left.Game 7 of the cup final really did it for me.This lock out was a good thing for me cause I don't even wana go and trying to sell tickets was near impossible. I will not be renewing next year.I use to be right into the Canucks, take a satellite when we hunting to watch all the games rush home to go or watch games jerseys hats whatever.Not anymore I don't care. That $8500 is a lot of ammo or fuel or fishing gear .My passion for the outdoors far out weighs the Canucks and the NHL now . I have been watching more and more football.There were times in some seasons when I could even give tickets away to friends.SOOOOO @$@%$%@ the NHL.Fighting over money when there all loaded.

That will never happen in Canada because 90 percent of season ticket holders are not fans there corporate or scalpels. Of the cap of 16000 season tickets in Vancouver 14000 are scalpers and corporate. my buddy is a legal ticket broker he has 12 seats and doesn't go to u game unless he has an extra ticket. What you are saying profisher is near impossible as as soon as I cancel mine there's 100000 people on a waiting list and it's even worst in Toronto.

Pretty much my stance in the last couple of years. Use to be a fan (not diehard) but watch when I can, go to the odd game when I can. But after paying no less than $400 to attend a game with one other person got to be rediculous. I'd rather go fishing, than pay to watch someone else do what they love.

Support yer local junior team instead. Happy to watch Canucks games on TV but haven't been to a live game in years. Hard to find a bad seat at a junior game, and the ticket prices are far more attractive. Season ticket for $250 in a nice new arena.

EXACTLY!!! As long as the market will bear it, and the demand is there, the greedy will only continue to get richer. The lockout is all about greed on both sides.

Bought season's tickets to watch our local BCJHL team today. Better atmosphere in our sh$%ty little local arena than in the Garage anyway. I will never fork out my own hard earned money to buy tickets to an NHL game as long as they continue down this road.
