NHL Lockout

After a long, painful wait..... NHL Hockey is finally back!!

With a short season it should be entertaining seeing what happens. Slow starters (the Canucks) won't have the full 82 games to right the ship.

What happens with the Luongo/Schneider situation? Lol.
Maybe anyone can win with such a short season, even the Leafs?
How much damage did the ridiculous lockout do to the league?

Although I have been a lifetime fan I will not watch a game, not buy a ticket, not buy a jersey, nothing! I hope you will all do the same. Let them know that there are consequences for this foolishness

Although I totally agree, I think the vast majority of Canadian fans will be right back to normal in a few days...the mid and southern States may be a different story...

Oh...and next lockout is scheduled for 2020

Not going to watch a single game not particapate again in any way. This whole thing was about greed greed greed and it makes me sick. X2 LORNE

They better be ready to play, perform well and not use the long break as an excuse for ANYTHING. Let's hope this lockout will be better for the game and served some purpose and wasn't just money. It will never be the same game to me, there's a lot of healing to be done here.

The NHL is all about money.(which I am good with, its a business) It has nothing to do with wanting to keep the customer happy. They forgot about their business in this business deal, and that is putting me in their seats. As far as I'm concerned, they can leave town. Anyone who supports a company that would do this should really take a look at their priorities in life. Anyone buying a ticket this year should be ashamed of themselves for supporting this crap.

Its a game, who cares that millionairs were fighting with billionairs, hockey night in Canada here we come!!! BTW, all you hawk fans can start crying in your beer now, Canucks will win the cup in 2013!!!!

All you whiners will be back watching hockey, if not the opening game then definitely the race to get into the playoffs.... ;).

I agree. Everyone has noble intentions to boycott the NHL but if you are really a hockey fan, you're gonna have a real tough go avoiding those Hockey Night in Canada games. We are creatures of habit. If you enjoyed it before, you'll enjoy it again.........

yes he will... I still for one like his goal tending as a canuack...just had a caouple bad days when the team need his A game... he will serve the leafs well.. :)

As much as the lockout pissed me off......I'll probably only be able to boycott the 1st 6 mins of the 1st period of the 1st HNC telecast on the 1st Saturday! I don't go to games because of the cost, but I can't wait for it to start, Cherry and all!!

X2.... Vancouver is the goalie graveyard of the NHL unfortunately. Luongo is going to be tough to play against... But I'm happy with him going because listening to Canucks fans rip him apart is unbearable. Good luck Schneider!
