I caught an Octopus on a jig

Last week while jigging for kingfish I caught an Octopus on a jig, something I was not expecting!

Having never caught an octopus I am curious as to what the "fight" was like?

i couln't resist ,i had to watch.i thaught the octopus would win while on a jet ski.thanks for the footage ,i have a better understanding of thier behaviors when i find them in prawn ,crab traps.some octopus attack.

Been there done that, couple of times...
Little easier than a Hali. Getting them into the boat is the real challenge
